The 23-year-old pop star is re-releasing her 2015 hit as the charity single for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, raising money for those affected by the Manchester terror attack following Ariana’s gig at Manchester Arena on May 22.
And having reached the top spot on the iTunes chart after climbing over the past fortnight, it’s now sitting tentatively in second place in the music charts, the Official Charts Company has confirmed.
Having reached a new peak of Number 11 two weeks ago, it means the song could enter the Top 10 for the first time on Friday’s chart.
The only track currently the standing in the way of the Manchester tribute tune is Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s Despacio ft. Justin Bieber, which has been in the top spot for four weeks.
One Last Time comes from Ariana’s second studio album, My Everything.
The single has brand new artwork for the One Love Manchester concert, with 76p from each 99p downloaded going directly to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in coordination with the British Red Cross and Manchester City Council.
It was reported last night that the emergency fund has so far seen over £10million raised, with £2million alone being donated during last night’s three-hour concert.

Where does the money go?
As well as all donations and charity single proceeds, all net ticket proceeds go directly to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. Ticketmaster had offered 14,000 free tickets to fans who were at Ariana Grande’s Manchester show.
The We Love Manchester Emergency Fund was launched by Manchester City Council in partnership with British Red Cross, with support from Manchester Evening News. The Fund will support people who have been injured or bereaved by the attack. The donations will help alleviate suffering and ensure that victims and their families do not face short-term financial difficulties. Care will be taken to prioritise those in the most urgent need. Manchester City Council are establishing a charity to deliver the funds.
To donate in the United Kingdom, you can text ‘LOVE’ to 70507 to give £5 or donate online via this dedicated British Red Cross page: http://www.redcross.org.uk/LOVE
SB UK Projects Limited and Live Nation (Music) UK Limited will donate the net proceeds from the concert to The British Red Cross Society, a Registered Charity, for its ‘Manchester Emergency Fund’ supporting the victims of the Manchester Bombing. This is expected to be at least £ 2million. Full details about the Fund can be found at http://redcross.org.uk. Ariana Grande has re-released ‘One Last Time’ as a charity single. Worldwide record proceeds from sales of the song will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
